1. My responsability:
1.1 l commit to providing painting and decorating (plastering) services to the best of my profesional abilities.
1.2 I will use quality tools and ensure all work is completed to a quality standard.
1.3 l will respect your property and take care to prevent damage to your belongings and premises.
1.4 l will adhere to agreed timelines as closely as possible, notifying you of any unavoidable delays.
1.5 l will ensure the work area is cleaned and tidied after each day's work.
2. Client Responsabilities:
2.1 Client will provide access to the property during agreed working hours.
2.2 Client will ensure that areas to be decorated are clear of personal belongings before work begins.
2.3 Client will provide necessary utilities (water, electricity) for completion of the work.
2.4 Client will communicate any concers or issues promptly to allow us to address them.
2.5 Client will ensure any pets or children are kept away from the work are for safety reasons.
3. Important Details:
3.1 While we strive to meet all agreed timelines, some delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, supply issues).
3.2 Any additional work requested that is not included in the initial quote will incur extra charges.
3.3 l am not responsible for any delays caused by your failure to meet the responsibilities outlined in section 2.
3.4 For a good recording of the documents and transparency, i ask the client that all the details and confirmations about the work to be made by email;
4. Payment:
4.1 Progress payment is required and will be divided and show in the quotation document, depending on the size of job. Progress payment is made by invoice and is calculated according to the progress of the work (e.g. during surface preparation, paintings, and final coat)
Progress payment benefit both contractor and client by ensuring financial stability, encouraging quality and accountability, and fostering a collaborative and transparent project evironment.
4.2 Payment to be made via bank transfer.
4.3 Invoice must be paid within 7 days from the date of issue.
4.4 Day rate works charged by standard rate.
4.5 We reserve the right to halt work if payment are not made as agreed.
5. Complaints & Return:
5.1 When the works were completed and inspected by the client, the client must notify us (by email) within 14 days of the work completion date, if there are find any defect in our workmanship, such as peeling paint, cracks or other, we will return and fix. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by external factors such as physical damage, excessive moisture, or subsequent alterations by other parties.
5.2 Any issues arising from the materials chosen by the client against our professional advice are not covered.
5.3 Any issues arising after the 7-day perior will be addressed, but additional charge will apply.
6. Dispute Resolution:
6.1 If the client is not satisfied with the quality of the work or any other reason, they must notify us in writing, detailing the aspect that do not conform to the agreed standards.
6.2 If the client requests the work to be stopped, they must notify us in writing detailing the aspects that led to this decision, the Decorator will be compensated for the work performed up to the date of the notice. The compensation amount will be calculated proportionally based on the progress of the work and the materials used.
6.3 In case of misunderstandings or other problems that lead to the impossibility of continuing the work, the Decorator has the right to stop the work (contract) by notifying the client in writing detailing the aspects that led to this decision. 6.4 Both parties agree to maintain thorough documentation of all comunications, agreements, and transactions related to the project.
